The Christmas Podcast

Hey there everyone.  Here is our Christmas podcast.  Prior to this podcast I asked people to send in some questions that they had about Christmas.  We got several questions so during this podcast we try to answer those questions as well as read through the Christmas narrative and talk about what really happened.  I hope that you enjoy it, and that you have a wonderful Christmas.  There is a study guide that will have all of the references that go along with the study.  I strongly recommend that you take a look at it because it will help you to springboard into other studies.

The Christmas Podcast

The Christmas podcast is coming soon.

Alright everyone.  I have recorded the Christmas podcast, and I just finished getting the references and questions typed up.  We should be good to go on Tuesday to put it online.  I am really excited about this one.  I hope that I was able to answer your questions to your satisfaction.  During the podcast we read through the Christmas narrative, and if you would like a little homework to prepare here is a list of some of the passages that we will look at.  These are in chronological order, which is the way that we read them in the study.  Luke 1:26-38; Matthew 1:18-24; Luke 2:1-20; Matthew 2:1-20.  I haven’t heard from anyone, but I was wondering if you wanted to wait until after New Year’s Day to get back to our Romans study.  That would mean that our next podcast would be January 7th, 2014.  Please let me know what you think.  Christmas is really close, and I hope that you are all excited.  When I think about what it meant for a Holy God to become man so that we can live for eternity with Him I just stand in awe.  Jesus gave up everything He had for us because He loves us and wants to be with us in heaven.  I hope that every day I can dwell on that, and in some way try to share that love with someone.  Have a wonderful day and be on the lookout for the Christmas podcast.

Prayer List

I am trying to organize a prayer list for the listeners of the podcast. If you didn’t receive a message from me on Facebook or an email please contact me if you would like to be on the list. I will be lifting you up in prayer several times a week. If you didn’t receive a message or email it is not because I don’t care about you. Maybe I just have an old email address. Thanks

Romans 5:1-18 Episode 10

Hey there everyone.  Here is the new podcast for this week and next week.  The week of December 17th will be the Christmas podcast.  I hope that you enjoy this study.  In chapter 5 Paul talks more about our justification by faith and our new life in Christ.  He also contrasts Adam and Jesus.  You can print out the study guide if you find that helpful.  I hope that you have a great week.  RomansSession9StudyGuide

Hey gang, just a quick note to catch you up on the latest news.

I am very sorry for the delay this week with the podcast.  What I am going to do is release one shortly for this week and next week.  It will still be only one hour, but that will give everyone a chance to catch up.  On the 17th will be the Christmas podcast.  So please turn in any questions by Saturday the 7th if you want them included on the podcast.  I have a few already so thank you to those who turned them in.  We will not have a podcast on the 24th to give everyone a break for Christmas, and then we will be back together on the 31st unless people would like that week off for New Years.  Let me know what you think about that.  I apologize again for the delay with this week’s lesson.  I hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving, and I hope that you are totally pumped for Christmas and not stressing out.  If you begin to stress out think of that little baby who was born to take away the sins of the world, and don’t dwell on all the pressures of gifts and running around.  Be on the lookout for the podcast hopefully today or tomorrow.  Thanks for your patience and for sticking with us.
